Swan Woodturners
Discover and learn the wonderful art of woodturning in a friendly group of experienced turners.

Wood turning is the fascinating craft of shaping wood with a wood lathe and handheld tools into practical or artistic items – bowls, ornaments, toys, kitchen utensils decorations or artistic items are examples. Each week an experienced woodturner will present a demonstration relating to a technique or approach to woodturning. Members will also bring items for a “Show and Tell” of their work. Then, stay for a cup of tea and a biscuit and have time to share ideas and socialise. Members are always willing to share ideas or provide guidance to new members.
Feel free to “Drop In” and see what they do or contact the secretary on swanwt123@gmail.com or 0417 963 058.
